Fees

In any case, fees are only changed once you have successfully obtained a loan. We, or Prosper, will not demand money without providing you a loan. There are different kinds of fees collected from borrowers:

• Origination fee

  Prosper collects a fee when your loan originates to cover their costs. Its current amount is 1% of the loan value, with a minimum of $25.

• Late payment fees Of course, these only apply if you miss a scheduled payment. These fees may depend on your loan amount, and vary with the state you live in. Please see here for more details.
  

Licensing

DVD Loans is an association of borrowers and lenders dedicated to furthering the goals of peer-to-peer lending. Our goal is to educate each other and help members of the group succeed financially. However, DVD Loans itself does not process any loans: All transactions and exchanges of money take place on the financial marketplace Prosper.
